The Green Machine...

I figured since this blog is meant to highlight FW and I's babies... we ought to introduce you to his newest obsession... an old school- Ford F 150... fondly known as the Green Machine.
The second picture should give a nice sneak peak of the thing and the first is simply to demonstrate how completely insane my husband chooses to be from time to time.

I figure I'll only have a few years to dress this kid up in ridiculous monkey suits before he catches on, curses me for the humiliation, and runs away from home.

That said- I made this year count... bigtime.

Okay...some might consider this cruel and unusual punishment, but I couldn't help myself. All I can say is this- there's more where that came from!! Expect to see plenty of these santa suit pictures plastered all over our Christmas card!

Napping in NC...

Cousin Taggart was blessed this weekend- so that meant it was Georgie's first trip to North Carolina... his longest roadtrip to date! He slept the whole way there, and the whole way back- what a stud! More pictures to come!

Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting...

Today Georgie and I had the pleasure of having lunch with our buddy Brandi!! Apparently, Georgie decided now was a good time to show off his karate moves for the first time. As you can see, he's waxing on and waxing off like a total pro... so thanks for the inspiration Brandi!

Peaks of Otter

About 45 minutes south on the Parkway is the rockin' spot of Peaks of Otter. The scape is absolutely incredible in the Fall!
We had to bring back the Olsens (some of our favorite people in BV) for pictures.

Georgie's Blessing...

Thanks to all who came to Georgie's baby blessing!!! FW and I were so touched, especially by those who traveled so far!

Lions and tigers and bears...

It's funny how a couple of bear ears attached to a hood can make a baby hilariously cute. More pictures to come of this little number I'm sure!

Just when I think this kid couldn't possibly get any cuter... he smiled at me. I recognize that parents can be ubsurdly bias when it comes to issues like this- but cummon'... is this kid adorable or what?!

Chick Magnet

So apparently, while I'm working tirelessly to provide for our family, my husband is out perusing the town with our son- down at the hotdog stand, up at the school library, and walking the streets of BV. And apparently, Georige is quite the "chick magnet"... so ladies, if you come acoss either of these mugs, feel free to tell the big one to go do his homework! :o)

Rootin' for the Redskins...

FW has suddenly become a

diehard Redskins

fan and Sunday football is now a regular event in the Willis household... so now, as the 'goodluck charm', Georgie's church clothes are immediately stripped and replaced with his redskins jersey. As you can see, Georgie isn't quite invested in the outcome of the games, but FW is convinced if Georgie is at least facing the tv- the redskins will win. And so far, they had...

Until yesterday anyway... Georgie was pretty torn up.

Back to Work...

**Sigh** Time flies and I'm back to work... more bitter than sweet frankly, but thus is life. My wonderful co-workers had my office cleaned, reorganized, and painted, so that at least made my coming back a bit more exciting. I miss my li'l Georgie. :o(

In the beginning...

To catch up... boy meets girl. Boy thinks girl is a total babe. Boy and girl date for the 6 months leading up to their missions. Boy and girl spend 3 weeks in the MTC together (yikes). Two years later, boy still thinks girl is a total babe. They marry... the rest is history.

Our new addition...

Well... FW and I have finally decided to jump on the "blogger bandwagon". Our lives really aren't all that exciting, and I suppose that may be why we haven't created one until now- Somehow Georgie's life, one of eating, sleeping, and pooping, seems quite worthy of the consistent postings that only a blog can provide. And so here we are... enjoy.
